  2. Having my son come home the morning after spending the night with Grandma. I know he's been well taken care of, but our house just isn't the same without him.

  11. Having our sweet 9 year old boy ask "Have things progressed the way you imagined they would since 1990?" (He gets his nerdiness from his dad.) He also said while driving throught Mt. Airy, NC (Mayberry)- "Why do they keep this place looking old?" John responded "Because people like to see it." Joshua then said "So this is what it looked like in the 1980s."

  14. Crazy poppy dip day!!! For a month I have had terrible pain in my hands, debilitating and scary pain! I thought I had suddenly developed really bad arthritis or something awful.
I finally went to the Dr. today- he said it is the parvo virus and I probably picked it up in Ethiopia! Great rejoicing at our house!!!! I had been so concerned! My hands hurt so badly, it was hard to drive, hard to change diapers. We are so relieved and thankful at our home tonight! The pain feels manageable knowing it will end soon!!!

  15. I was able (with Gods help) to get a large donation from my church to give to the Mocha Club for Orphan Care in Africa! I am determined to continue to be the voice of all the orphans despite the stereotyping, the "bad economy" and all the other excuses I get from people. It was truly a POPPY DIP way to start my day:-). Tammy Stonebrook
